Linn has turned 16 and finally gets to go along on the yearly moose hunt with her dad. She knows the forests and the rules of hunting well but in a group of only men she is put to the test and needs to prove she is capable. It all starts off badly when the first moose that Linn shoots turns out to be a pregnant moose cow. As pride turns to shame, Linn leaves the group and heads off alone into the wilderness.

Liar Girl

Liina lives alone with her mother and because her mother works a lot, Liina must manage very much on her own. At school she gets tangled in lies and is questioned by her classmates. One morning, she hears a dog whining inside a flat in her stairwell. There are rumours that addicts have moved into the flat but the idea of having her own dog makes her curious.

After a nuclear disaster, 12-year-old Darya returns to her hometown having been evacuated. She wants to find her father but nothing is the same after the disaster. Darya is forced to realise that she must leave the past behind her and face the future. Through a combination of different animation techniques, the film’s creators have created a unique film in terms of both content and expression.

Twelve-year old Alma lives with her mother and younger brother in an old house in the woods. It’s the school summer holiday and she is jealous of her brother who is getting all their mother’s attention. Alma makes him believe that the bear in the woods will eat him. A moving film about life’s mysteries seen from a child’s perspective.
