Siyar, a young Kurdish man, travels from Iraq to Istanbul to find his sister and then kill her. His sister has run away to escape an arranged marriage and she has damaged her family’s honour. Siyar’s search for his sister takes him to Europe. The first stop is Greece, followed by Berlin and finally, Oslo. Along the way he befriends a girl called Evin who, unaware of Siyar’s plans, decides to join him on his journey.

En ung kurdisk man, Siyar, tar sig från Irak till Istanbul för att hitta sin syster och döda henne. Systern har flytt från familjen för att slippa bli bortgift och därmed svärtat ner familjens heder. Siyars jakt på systern tar honom till Europa, först till Grekland, sedan till Berlin och slutligen Oslo. Längs vägen blir han vän med en flicka, Evin, som ovetande om Siyars plan bestämmer sig för att resa med honom.
