For the third year in a row we have chosen to not only arrange a film festival, but to also distribute films. The new titles were screened at BUFF 2019 and are now able to reach all of Sweden.
Some films are so good that we want everyone to see them. Preferably at the cinema of course. This applies to all of the films that we show on BUFF, but unfortunately, only a few of them make it to the Swedish cinemas. We are now changing this and can gladly announce that we have three new films in distribution: German film Invisible Sue (dir: Markus Dietrich), Swedish PewPewPew (dir: Sergey Vasiliev) and from India, Halkaa (dir: Nila Madhab Panda).

Synopsis
Sue is a lonely teenage girl. Her mum is a researcher who spends all her time working at the lab. When Sue and her dad decide to surprise her at work on her birthday, they just end up getting in the way. In the commotion, Sue accidentally comes into contact with a liquid which makes her invisible! When her mum is kidnapped, Sue enlists the help of her friends to save her and apprehend the kidnappers.

Synopsis
PewPewPew is a mysterious virus which starts to spread among teenagers in Malmö. Four teens are affected by nausea, confusion and an extreme craving to be just as famous as PewDiePie. A film which raises a host of questions about values, the future, loneliness, an obsession with outward appearances and mental health issues, in a dreamlike and humouristic way. A film in the spirit of Harmony Korine (director of Kids and Spring Breakers) about the lack of real meaning in a life in which you apparently have everything but really have nothing.

Synopsis
Pichku dreams of one thing – a clean toilet where he can sit in peace. But in the Indian slums, being able to do this with a roof over your head is more of a luxury than a right. Pichku and some friends start to collect together money with which to build a toilet. With a large helping of music, song, dance and humour, the film highlights a global problem which many Swedish children perhaps take for granted – access to a clean, safe toilet.
