Warm welcome to the opening of BUFF 2020!

This afternoon is the beginning of a week packed with films for the young audience in Malmö.

WHEN: Saturday, March 21, at 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

WHERE: Cinema Royal, Södra Tullgatan 4

Actors Estelle Lövgren Hadir (Noor), Emilio Silva (Milo) and Sven Boväng (the teacher) from the SVT-series Klassen will open the festival.

Opening film: H is for Happiness

Candice, 12, has lost her younger sister and is trying to bring happiness back to the grief stricken family. Nothing is like it used to be since her sister’s death. Her mother is depressed. At school, she makes a new friend. Together, with boundless optimism and imagination, they try to make Candice’s mum and dad happy again. A humorous film based on the book “My Life As An Alphabet”.

DJs from Malmö kulturskola will warm up with music in the theatre from 14.30.

The opening begins on stage inside the theatre at 15:00.
