Deaf Film Festival Skåne

Deaf Film Festival Skåne is a collaboration between the youth organisation Spelis and SIMA Folkhögskola in Åkarp.

When you see all the waving hands across the screen, you understand that our film festival is somewhat different. All our films contain sign language. 

Our goal is to offer people who sign the opportunity to see films in sign language from countries around the world. We also want to entice people who usually don’t cross paths with sign language to discover films with a language, a culture and a whole world that is new to them. 

Everybody is invited to our Deaf Film Festival, no matter who you are!
