Free of charge seats for schools in Malmö

In association with the city’s Department of Culture, seats to a number of BUFF’s film performances are available free of charge to Malmö’s preschools, primary and secondary schools and upper secondary schools. These seats are bookable through Kulturkartan.

The performances take place during school hours and guaranteed transport by bus is available within a specified booking period. The seats can be booked from 12th of February at Kulturkartan For more information, please contact skolbio@malmo.se.

Schools wishing to purchase tickets for film performances not included here are referred to Kulturcentralen and the tickets with school ticket price.

Good to know

Festival pass
Is mandatory for all festival visitors and costs a one time fee. Festival passes can be picket up at the festival cinemas before the festival screening or the seminar.

Opening Hours
The festival cinemas open 30 minutes before the first festival screening. Doors to the theatre opens ca. 10 minutes before the screening.

All seats are unnumbered.

All festival theatres have wheelchair spaces with adjacent companion seating. All festival theaters have hearing aid loops, except Filmstaden 4. Please contact the BUFF cinema staff if you have any questions about where the hearing aids loop work best.

Gold Pass
Free entry to all festival screenings subject to availability. Festival pass is included.

Pre-sale tickets
Advance sales via Kulturcentralen’s website, www.kulturcentralen.nu, or at their ticket office (Södra Förstadsgatan 18). Opening hours: Mon–Fri 11am–6pm, Sat 11am–3pm. Telephone: +46 (0)40-10 30 20.

When purchasing advance tickets online you will receive your ticket direct to your mobile device or by e-mail. You can then either print out a physical copy of your ticket or present the e-ticket on your mobile device.

During the festival
At the Spegeln, Panora and Filmstaden cinemas tickets and festival passes are on sale during the festival (see opening hours listed below). Please observe that there are no ticket sales at the cinema Royal.
