A conversation about how children and youth experience violence in close relationships, as well as how we are affected by the depiction of the same type of violence in media and film. The film Jag, Julia is the starting point for the conversation.
Moderator: the conversation is led by Bridgett Stehag, Operations Manager at Agera Women’s Shelter.
14-year old Julia is trying to record a vlog but is interrupted when her controlling and violent father comes home. Julia desperately tries to get her mother to leave him but it’s not that easy.
