Maik’s mum is an alcoholic and his dad is an idiot. Add to this that Maik is in love with a girl who doesn’t even seem to know he exists. Just before the start of the summer holidays, a new guy, Tschick, turns up
in class. An unexpected friendship develops, and over the summer, the pair embarks on an eventful road trip. A fast-moving film, as warm as it is humorous, based on German author Wolfgang Herrndorf’s acclaimed novel Tschick.

After the screening the 22/3 Goethe-Institute Schweden arranges a film workshop with one of the films main characters, Anand Batbileg at 1.50pm. Students who studies German and teachers are welcome to discuss their re extions of the film in German. The workshop is free and registrations goes to: viktor.englund@goethe.de
