Wissam is in love with Joanna and he has to tell her about his feelings for her. At the same time, the war in Lebanon is ramping up and the teachers at Wissam’s school try to maintain the calm and hide their own fear from the pupils. 1982 is set during one school day and depicts how the first love for an eleven-year old can be bigger than anything else.
