Danish film composer Andreas K. Westmark presents a concert adaptation of his soundtrack to Nipster (by Sunniva Eir Tangvik Kveum), following the festival premiere. Not everything is as it seems in Westmark’s music: acoustic and electromagnetic sounds are transformed and distorted in an electro-acoustic fabric that physically reinforces the film’s themes of deception, transformation and radicalization. The concert features extended portions of the original score along with unused tracks written for Nipster’s world, creating expressions that move between the playful and the brutal.
