BUFF Film Festival’s Award Ceremony will be broadcasted live from Malm\u00f6 Thursday the 18th of March at 6.00 PM (CEST).<\/h4>\n

The broadcast will be available at buffplay.se<\/a> for Swedish viewers, and buff.se for all international viewers.<\/p>\n

    This award goes to a filmmaker who according to the award jury has contributed to the best children’s film. Quality and originality are important criterias. The winner receives 100,000 Swedish kronor.<\/p>\n

    \nDocumentary film producer (Bike vs Cars<\/em>, Leslie on Fire<\/em>), chairperson of OFF (Independent Filmmakers\u2019 Association).<\/p>\n

    \nActor and comedian known for various roles in Swedish TV-shows, the character Filippa Bark and Sune\u2019s mother in the Andersson films. In 2018-2020 she directed the TV mini-serie Dilan and Moa<\/em>.<\/p>\n

    \nAward winning cinematographer born in Poland who now lives in Sweden. Won the Guldbagge for best cinematography in 2016 for the film The Yard<\/em>. She is also known for My Aunt in Sarajevo<\/em>, The War Game<\/em> and JerryMaya’s Detective Agency: The Secret of the Train Robber<\/em>.<\/p>\n

    ECFA Award<\/h1>\n

    Also known as The European Children\u2019s Associations Award.<\/p>\n

    Six European films for children and young people are competing for the ECFA Award at BUFF Filmfestival. The prize has been created by the European Children\u2019s Film Association and is awarded at a number of international festivals for films aimed at children and young people. The winner from BUFF will go on to compete for the prize for the year\u2019s best film for children and young people, awarded at the children and young people\u2019s film festival in Berlin.<\/p>\n

    Barnfondens prize for Best Comedy<\/h1>\n

    Barnfonden\u2019s prize is awarded to the children\u2019s or young people\u2019s film that gives us the best laugh; a film that contributes to more children\u2019s laughter around the world; a film that lets children be children and which gives laughter space. In the winner\u2019s name, Barnfonden awards 100 000 Swedish kronor to one of its development projects, a prize that adds more children\u2019s laughter to the world.<\/p>\n
