Welcome to a seminar on participation and democracy through children’s own filmmaking in preschool.

Since 2019, work has been going on in Malmö where children in preschool are invited to make films aimed at strengthening their
opportunity to speak on important issues in the Convention on the Rights of the Child spirit The project is run by Pedagogical Inspiration, vid Malmö city, in close collaboration with the Preschool Administration and professional filmmakers.

Examples from the children’s films have been shown at various film festivals – and more examples will be shown at the seminar
during BUFF 2023.
