DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES IS DECEMBER 1, 2010
• BUFF International Competition Programme. Eight Feature Films.
• BUFF Short film Competition Programme. Apx 10 films maximum 15 minutes.
• Panorama Programme: Features, Shorts, Animations and Documentaries.
All films entered must be available with English subtitles.
• BUFF screen apx.100 films during five days screenings.
• Films made before 2009 are not eligible for Competition but can be
selected at BUFF 2011 in the Panorama Section.
• BUFF screen film in 35 mm and betaSP/PAL versions.
Conditions for BUFF International Competition Programme:
• The Competition Programme will include 8 Feature films, with duration of at least 60 minutes.
• Films in Competition can only be on 35 mm.
• BUFF Grand Prix - City of Malmö Award. Euro 5 000 (50 000 SEK). Award goes to the Director. Selected by a professional jury.
• The Swedish Church Award. Euro 5 000 (50 000 SEK). Award goes to the Director. Selected by a professional jury.
• Young people's Jury Film Award goes to the Director. The Youth Jury consists an eights grade School Class from Malmö.
• A representative of the film will be invited to BUFF Filmfestival on our expense.
Conditions for BUFF Short film Competition Programme:
• Apx Ten films are selected.
• We accept screening formats in 35 mm, DVCam/Pal and BetaSP/Pal.
• First Prize is The County Council Award. 2 500 Euro (25 000 SEK).
• A representative will be invited to BUFF Filmfestival on our expenses.
The Entry form must be accompanied by following:
• A DVD screener.
• A CD with a digital photo (300 dpi) from the film and the biography, filmography and a recent photo of the director or e-mail photos, biogaphy and filmography to kontor@buff.se.
