Aylin has a difficult time at school and at home. After fighting back against one of the worst bullies, she’s sentenced to community service at a stable in the countryside. There, she meets a black horse with the Icelandic name Hördur, which means hard. Aylin faces yet another challenge when her dad wants to move back to Turkey.
