Summary:
This is a story about eight-year-old Eric. His mother died two years ago so no there are only three family members left; Eric, his dad and his younger sister. Eric has many classmates, among others David and Sarah. He is very fond of Sarah and usually feels a bit tense when she gets close to him. One day as they are walking home from school, Eric falls out with David as he doesn’t feel that David is sticking to the rules of the game. When Eric has told David this several times without any result, he gets furious. He picks up a rock and throws it at David. Then Eric turns around and runs home without stopping even once. He shuts himself in his room and thinks about what he has done- how badly hurt is David?
